The Clubs of Dove Mountain provides customized instruction to golfers of every ability, because everyone deserves to achieve the confidence they need to fully enjoy the game. 

Meet our Instructors

Keenan Holt - Growing up in Durango, Colorado, Keenan picked up the game of golf when he was just three years old watching his dad play. After playing high school golf for Durango High School, then at South Mountain Community College where his team finished second in the national championship, he earned a second team PING All-American award. From there, he played at the University of Northern Colorado and graduated with a degree in Recreation and Tourism. After having one year of eligibility left to play college sports, Keenan went back to his hometown and played at Fort Lewis College where he finished 8th in the NCAA DII National Championship. After college, Keenan played professionally full time for five years on the mini tours. Keenan has been a member of the Dove team since 2018 running Member events, hotel groups and specializing in teaching.  

Mark McDowell - Mark has worked in the golf industry for 22+ years and has been a proud team member of The Gallery since August 2018 (with an earlier stint in 2005-2006). A native Michigander, he moved to Arizona in 2000 and started his golf career at The Stone Canyon Club in Oro Valley. He then opened the PGA Superstore here in Tucson and started as a certified club fitter and went to General Manager after two years. He has been a student of the game since he started playing and is very knowledgeable in all aspects of the golf swing while having great success as an instructor at The Gallery. His true passion is helping others. Aside from golf, his greatest loves are his wife of 32 years, daughter Amber, three grandchildren and two German Shepards. 

Jared Rogers - Jared has been a proud team member of The Gallery Golf Club since 2020. He grew up in Prosper, Texas, a small town just outside of Dallas, which is also where he started his golf career 13 years ago. Jared is currently a PGA Associate working toward his PGA membership and runs several children’s camps at The Gallery. When he's not at the club or golfing, you can always find him doing some sort of outdoor activity, such as hiking or mountain biking. 


Mike Russell, PGA - Mike has worked in the golf industry for the past 30 years, starting as an outside service team member at PGA National in South Florida while playing various mini-tour events. From there, he moved to Arizona and took a position at Superstition Mountain Golf & Country Club as Assistant Golf Professional from 1997 – 1999. In late 1999, he moved to Oro Valley, AZ where he started at The Stone Canyon Club as the Assistant Professional, then the Head Professional, before becoming General Manager for eleven years.  

Mike became a proud team member of The Gallery Golf Club as the Director of Golf in March 2022. He thoroughly enjoys serving our Members and their guests as we strive to enhance our golf operations. While away from work, he loves spending time with his two daughters, Megan (23) and Annie (20). He is also an avid sports fan who continues to compete competitively in PGA Section Events.
